The Cuenca panel shows the conquest of the city by Alfonso VIII in 1177. Set within a great gilded oval against a ground of blue scrollwork, it shows the Christian camp at the foot of the gorge, with Cuenca clinging to the rock above.

Souvenir tile of the Plaza de España in Seville, reproduced on glazed ceramic. The Plaza's tiled benches are one of Seville's emblems and a speciality of Sevillian ceramics ever since the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition.
