The Badajoz bench depicts the conquest of the city by Alfonso IX of León in 1230. The troops advance towards the gate in the walls as the townspeople come out to meet them, in a composition flanked by two large allegorical figures.

Souvenir tile of the Plaza de España in Seville, reproduced on glazed ceramic. The Plaza's tiled benches are one of Seville's emblems and a speciality of Sevillian ceramics ever since the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition.

Size: 28 cm wide × 14 cm high × 0.6 cm deep. Approximate weight: 590 g. Ready to hang or to stand on a shelf.
