Moorish relief takes the Andalusi pattern and lifts it off the plane. Raking light picks out every edge and the wall gains a depth a flat tile cannot reach. It is made in the 14x28 format, which best suits the proportion of the interlace, and is finished with plain pieces in the same glaze.

Sevillian relief works the classic motif in three dimensions: the same flower, the same ribbon, but modelled. It is a common solution in restoration work, when pieces of an old dado need replacing and the original was already in relief. Made to order, and we can match the mould to an existing piece.

Plain tiles and relief trims are the closing pieces: borders, cornices, edges and plain backgrounds from the same series as the pattern. When a relief wall is cut without a trim, the raw clay edge shows; these pieces exist precisely to avoid that.
